Paris: For his F/W 14 collection Raf Simons collaborated with artist and longtime associate, Sterling Ruby, who supposedly had a hand in every piece on the runway. Ruby’s hallmark serape stripes where there, in addition to a cavalcade of other wild prints. Digitally printed space motifs were prominent, as were other flyboy items, including bomber jackets, flight bags and Raf’s take on the bulbous, military “Mickey Mouse” boot. — Andrew Luecke
