The Active Team stopped by Quiksilver’s flagship store in SoHo to celebrate the release of their new women’s line. The decidedly feminine line features dresses, knits, denim, swimwear and T-shirts, with an eye to quality fabrics, fits and finishes, as well as a healthy dose of Boho beach flavor. The collection’s maxi dress, inspired by one of the Quiksilver’s original 1970s prints, and their colorful heather hoodies impressed us.
Quicksilver is inviting young women to submit “Summer Stories” via the brand’s Facebook, whereby they can share their fondest summer memories, ideas or feelings through a variety of creative media, with winning submissions to be published in a limited-edition book available at select retail locations across the United States.
Check out Head Designer, John Moore, talking shop about the heritage of the brand, as well as inspiration for this collection of “modern, coastal classics”.
