Paris: This season Cedric Charlier went back to simplicity and presented a collection of refined sportswear staples in architectural shapes and eye-catching colours. The dress code was simplified thanks to the geometrical shapes and the precise technological fabrics – second skin knitted trousers came in double-faced neoprene materials and sported a coloured contrasting stripe that ended a few inches above the hemline. The covetable tailored suits were presented in the same foamy material and stood out in bold hues of Kelly green and bright navy. The printed stripes were disturbed and heckled, bringing graphic appeal to evening pleated dresses, skirts and sporty dresses. Elsewhere, Skirts and tops were shaped from rectangular panels and coloured cracked leather updated jackets and overcoats. Overall, the dynamic lineup looked youthful, comfortable and very desirable. – Diego Sanchez
