As another trade show season starts, Stylesight’s Print and Graphics team is in New York to report on the key print trends coming through from both Indigo and Printsource shows.
The first show attended was Printsource, where studios reported back that they’d had a busy start with many seeing stands heaving with eager buyers. Key print trend highlights included:
Mirrored kaleidoscope visuals / Clean graphic florals / No print prints / Scarf prints / Tropical remix looks / Reinvented conversational prints.
Indigo this year was split over three floors with a mixed selection of new and regular studios showing. The team chatted to a good selection of exhibitors to get a real snapshot of what’s selling and what’s trending for the season. Key trends emerging within the print market included:
Art Deco-inspired prints / Clean geometric and floral prints / Tropical designs / Photo-real nature prints / Abstracted fresh take on skin prints / Large brush stroke placements / Large-scale florals.
Look out for our in-depth Printsource and Indigo print reports, which will be live shortly.
All textile designs & prints are copyright protected by each studio
