Contingent with our comprehensive coverage of Brazil’s fashion weeks, Stylesight was on hand at the latest edition of Salão Bossa Nova in Rio de Janeiro. While the event focused on F/W 14, a few key swimwear brands like Blueman, Vix and Agua de Coco presented new collections at the emerging Southern Hemisphere trade show. The latter, in particular, showed off a forward collection of swimsuits and cover-ups that epitomize Brazil’s vibrant around-the-clock beach lifestyle. On tap for fall from Agua de Coco are sleek maillots that double as bodysuits, serpentine style lines, kinetic photo collages and neoprene-everything. And then there’s this, a cartoon meme superimposed on Brazil’s postcard landmarks:
