Last week Stylesight attended Premiere Vision, where we spotted the fun, vibrant prints and quirky graphics of Manri Kishimoto. Kishimoto graduated from Central St Martins College of Art & Design specializing in textile design. She has since been awarded the TEXTPRINT Colour Prize as well as joint winner of the LULULEMON TEXTPRINT award, and we can certainly see why!
Kishimoto’s final major project was inspired by birds and incorporated feathered hemlines, bird silhouettes and wing-shaped patterns filled with bold primary colors. Other creations included hand-embroidered collages and hand-drawn illustrations.
“I believe that fashion should be bold, colorful, original and interesting, which is what I try to reflect in my design and prints.” – Manri Kishimoto

Throughout Premiere Vision there was an explosion of bright and bold print designs, collated to clash and complement each other. The Essential collection by Westcott Studios displayed striking conversational prints and floral designs with a beautiful autumnal color palette of reds, purples and greens.
