GRAPHIC + GIRLY
New York: For C/R 12, Prabal Gurung crossed bold colors and girly patterns with unfussy silhouettes to create a collection of wearable yet fun looks. Graphic combinations of black, white, neon pink and emerald green enlivened floral wallpaper patterns and polka-dots created by hole-punched fabric overlays, while flouncy ruffle hems and sarong-style skirts added femininity to straight drop-waisted silhouettes. Embellishments like fringe, sequins and flower appliqués looked festive on evening styles. –Whitney Kessler
