Portland, Oregon has no shortage of adorable, independent boutiques selling locally crafted goods, but one shop stands out for its impeccable selection of unique treasures. The whimsically named Woonwinkel was inspired by owner Kristin Van Buskirk’s time spent working for Nike in Amsterdam, where the homey yet minimalist designs on display inspired her to open up this charming shop upon returning to the States. Here you’ll find a wonderful mix of interior items and accessories, some sourced from Europe, some crafted just down the street. This inspirational boutique is a must-visit when in Portland, but if you can’t make it up there, Woonwinkel also offers online shopping. —Ashley Churchill
