It’s 2017 and the fashion industry is finally starting to extend fashion offerings to women beyond a size 12, with new brands that are worth writing home about. This year has seen collaborations between established straight size brands and plus size brands, celebrities launching their own plus size brands, plus size models on the catwalks, established brands extending their size offerings, and plus size fashion going global. These are just a few examples of amazing breakthroughs in the fashion world recently, and yet there is still so much to cover.

“There are so few quality options for women wearing size 14 and above, that mediocrity has enveloped the mindset of the majority,” — Zhou, who heads up design and all creative direction for SEE ROSE GO.
And it’s true! Cavanaugh and Zhou’s experiences in the fashion market and passion for this gap in the market led them to take the necessary steps to create See Rose Go, the debut signature collection not only includes easy-to-wear stylish pieces, friendly price points are a plus for the amazing quality.
SEE ROSE GO doesn’t want any woman to settle. While speaking with many women who wear plus size clothing, it became clear there was a need for quality workmanship and material. The company selects durable fabrics and trims that allow movement and comfort. Applying innovative design techniques to increase function and durability, the ultimate goal is for women to check doubt at the door, and get out to accomplish day-to-day ambitions.
Unlike brands that simply apply an exponential multiplier to a sample size, their designs are created, fit and edited on real women, with real curves. With a focus on bringing a tailored edge to refined, flattering silhouettes designs were cut in a range of premium fabrics. SEE ROSE GO fit all designs on real women who wear plus size clothing to ensure the garment moved with her, not against. Every design begins and ends with the body in mind.
SEE ROSE GO designs are easy and comfortable. Clothing should be functional, versatile and beautiful. The designs embody an effortless attitude that plays up personal style and personality. “Women are not used to demanding what they desire,” says Cavanaugh. “They are used to what they have been presented, and may not know what they are missing. Ultimately, this leaves them with something so far from what they deserve. We are inspired by listening to them, learning what they need and want, and ultimately making it a reality.”
