Style maven Lady Gaga pushes the limits in the newly released mini-movie for her latest song, Telephone.
Gaga plays a criminal sentenced to a high security prison where she dons a black and white striped power-shoulder dress by Jean-Charles de Castelbajac and sunglasses by Mercura. While in the prison yard, her Viktor and Rolf chain dress is matched with sunglasses made from lit cigarettes when she receives an uninvited phone call. The song begins as she takes the call on the prison’s pay phone in a Search & Destroy studded leather jacket and hair styled with Diet Coke cans as rollers – borrowing looks from the late Alexander McQueen’s F/W 09 runway. After being bailed out by her partner in crime, Beyoncé, the duo reeks havoc on a small town diner, poisoning the customers a la Quentin Tarantino’s movie Kill Bill, all while dressed to impress.
