Miu Miu: Paris Fashion Week

Miuccia Prada loves a trip down retro-road, and yesterday’s star-studded, all-inclusive Miu Miu collection spanned several decades in one line-up.

Opening the show – greeted by whoops and cheers from the audience – came leader-of-the-pack Elle Fanning, who’s messy bee-hive hair, 60’s overcoat and buckled boots looked every bit rocker-girl-gang.

To follow, ‘80’s stonewashed denim came paired with double-buckled belts and mohair sweats – then back to the 60’s with leather-clad mini dresses paired with enormous dogtooth tweed bombers.

For evening, 50’s glamour girls emerged in sugar-pastel wiggle-dresses splashed in floral brocades, some,  wrapped up in giant leather overcoats in bubblegum pink or sweet turquoise. For all those tapping into AW18’s vintage revival trend, Miu Miu has you covered. – Anna Ross
