Lubov and Max Azria cited the Beijing Olympics as inspiration for a collection of silk and jersey pieces that brought to mind Katherine Hamnett in the ’80s, Calvin Klein in the ’90s and the current work of Stella McCartney. What that meant was billowy jumpsuits and rompers, sporty cropped jackets and relaxed leggings. In first place though were the short dresses that draped easily around the body, sometimes teamed with little shrug-on vests, to which the winning word “wearable” can be applied.
