The Stylesight team has recently been following this creative and colorful illustration based blog, which visually tells the tale of two cities.
Graphic designer and art director Vahram Muratyan is from Paris but lives in New York City. A fan of both locals, the cofounder of Paris design studio ViiiZ created the Paris Versus New York blog to display his delight with both cities. The blog features simple pop illustrations that pit Parisian icons against their New York counterparts. Muratyan’s Croque Monsieur vs. Hot Dog illustration is perhaps the most illustrative, though his Jean-Paul vs. Ralph, Tabac vs. Nails, and Bobo vs. Hipster illustrations are the most fashion forward.
Still, the office favorite is either Pigeon Parisien vs. New York Rat or Pepé Le Pew vs. Squirrel (though New York City might take top honors for either pest).
