Paris’ Salon du Vintage hosted its Fall 2011 edition at the Vito Acconci-designed Cité de la Mode et du Design on the left bank this past weekend, transferring from its usual [cramped] quarters in the heart of the Marais for the spacious confines of this contemporary building on the left bank. A varied selection of vendors gathered to sell clothing and furniture from the 20th century, with a particular focus on the 30s – 70s; a 50s-heavy selection took center stage.
