If you’re in Paris but craving a savory bite of New England, look no further than the Lobster Bar, opening today in the Louvre area. Not a dish commonly found in Paris, Chef Mathieu Mercier traveled up and down America’s Eastern seaboard for five months researching this luxurious sandwich, hitting up roadside shacks in Maine, 5-star hotels in New York City, Boston’s classic waterfront restaurants, and every variant in between. The result is a mouthwatering combination of sweet Brittany lobster and special house sauce on a perfectly buttered and toasted roll, accompanied by olive oil French fries and a side salad.
