Opening today is Karl Lagerfeld’s newest concept store in Paris, its second boutique in the City of Light. The 65 sqm. space spans two stories and encompasses the bold disposition of the sought after brand. The contemporary interior makes use of modern décor with classic accents, black and white compositions, and juxtaposing gloss and matte elements. Complete with illuminated walls by way of lights and mirrors, the sleek space acts as the perfect backdrop to highlight the full range of Karl ready-to-wear for both men and women. Watches, handbags, and eyewear are showcased alongside a unique edit of “gifts” such as Lagerfeld’s favorite photography and design books as well as the designer’s limited-edition tokidoki
Reflective of the label’s digital presence, KARL iPads are readily available for shopping to view the latest collections, watch videos, and navigate through Karl.com (you can even leave a note for the designer himself). Fitting rooms are equipped with Photobooths for snapping selfies, where shoppers can then edit their images share them on social media channels.
