Outdoor Retailer – Winter Market 2013

Hello from Salt Lake City! The Active team has packed up our Winter gear and hit the road to cover our favorite tradeshows of the season. Our first stop has been to Utah for the Outdoor Retailer Winter Show January 23-26. With plenty of familiar faces and furry friends we have been having a blast. What’s even more exciting is some of the products we’ve already been seeing. Palettes have deepened and gotten richer,  hybrid jacket construction is continuing to get even more innovative and winter boots are better than ever.

Chainsaw carving outside the Salt Palace.

OutDry technology hard at work.

Team FarSight: Trevor Thomas and Tennille – The only trail and city trained seeing eye dog.

Winter-ready at ECCO.

BioLite camp stoves with new grill attachments.

Sorel never disappoints with a full range of incredible new Women’s product.

Today we wrap up our last day at the show and head off to Denver for SIA next week. Stay tuned for our full reports on Outdoor Retailer next week!
