A project designed by YME Studios and Snøhetta architects, and the brainchild of Central Saint Martins graduate Nicolai Schaanning Larsen, YME Universe is the latest major concept store to enter the Nordic market. Opened in September in Oslo, YME comprises three floors of clothing, footwear, artworks, fragrance, interiors, books and an in-store cafe, setting itself up to join other successful concept stores like Colette and Dover Street Market. Brands available include international brands Lanvin, Wood Wood, Ann Demeulemeester, Maison Martin Margiela and Y-3, as well as sportswear brands such as adidas, Nike and Reebok. For 2015, YME will also boast a roof garden offering a calm oasis to relax post-shopping. –Emily Cater
