As previously blogged about on DDD, Edwin-Europe continues to roll out its series of short films documenting individuals from all walks of life in their preferred Edwin cut.

We’re big fans of Nico “The Ornamental Conifer” here at Stylesight. We previously worked with the traditional sign painter back in February last year where we collaborated on an exclusive shoot of hand-painted denims and have been keeping a keen eye on the artist since.

After leaving London this summer, Nico has been traveling the globe, stopping off in Melbourne, LA, Portland and now, Weil am Rhein where he has been keeping himself busy at the Edwin Surplus Store. As part of Edwin’s artist video series, the denim brand focuses on Nico as he paints an amazing series of artworks on the stores exterior. Nico has become closely associated with the Edwin brand – himself and his Kingdom of Kicks crew are regulars in the seasonal lookbooks and Nico has also helped with the interiors of the London store. This time around he goes bigger than ever, giving his signature style a larger than life scale with a huge mural on the exterior of the building. We love the quirky denim workwear references and clever use of imagery that give the building a personal Edwin touch.
