Earlier this year news leaked of Örjan Andersson’s plan to launch his own name label. Information regarding the new project has been kept very much under wraps with details emerging through the gradual evolution of the Örjan Andersson website.
As the brand prepares for its Spring/Summer 12 launch, the first set of lookbook images has emerged on the brand’s holding page. Providing the youthful fundamentals, from a small T-shirt range to the signature five jean collection (women, men and unisex), the Cheap Monday founder’s forward-thinking spring collection provides a fantastic grounding for the label’s new look.
Not straying far from his design roots at Cheap Monday, Örjan embraces graphic T-shirts, soft indigo washes, subtle resin finishes and signature skinny fits. The label’s slogan uses a play on words of Örjan’s initials, with the line ‘Fran Ö Till A’ (translating roughly as ‘From Z to A’).
