Stylesight’s New York editors had the opportunity to view the F/W 11 collections of several buzzed-about up-and-coming British designers this week when they visited New York as part of the London show Rooms initiative. Headed by the British Fashion Council (BFC) in partnership with Centre for Fashion Enterprise, the project aims to boost British designers’ exports by sponsoring trips during which emerging talent can showcase their collections internationally for buyers and members of the press. Among this season’s crop of designers were Stylesight Ones to Watch picks David Koma, James Long, Mark Fast, Mary Katrantzou, Meadham Kirchhoff and Michael van der Ham.
