It’s that time of year again and the Active Team has hit the road. Escaping New York for the snowy adventures of Salt Lake City for Outdoor Retailer, and then on to Denver for SIA. That said, we wanted to round up a few of our favorite moments from Outdoor Retailer Winter Market 2014 that wrapped up on Saturday.

The show was a great roundup of new innovations and trends, some of the most notable being the even stronger integration of lifestyle and performance apparel, some incredible collaborations including nau and Snow Peak, and heritage bands playing up their history within the industry. In between appointments we made sure to visit with pups, catch up with friends and see the newest product.

Icebreaker hosted a party to showcase its newest collaboration with snow artist Simon Beck.

Pendleton celebrated 90 years of shirt making.

Unofficial show mascots Marley and Matiesse, always on the hunt for treats.

Stanley’s display incorporating vintage bottles.

The new Timbuk2 Distilled Collection

And with that, we take off to Denver for our next stop – SIA Snow Show. Stay tuned for our reports coming up on Outdoor Retailer in more detail, and an update from SIA!
