Following the opening of its first Upper East Side location, Kiehl’s is putting their natural beauty products to use with Spa 1851.
Situated atop the Lexington Avenue store, Spa 1851 channels the brand’s roots as a historic, herb-centric apothecary. After a one-on-one consultation about the products, patrons can choose from a range of facials, peels, scrubs and massages, and male customers can indulge to the max with a haircut and a shave at the barber shop. In the same vein as the Kiehl’s East Village flagship, exposed brick lines the interior while vibrant photo murals and decals by David LaChappelle, Curtis Jinkins and Am I Collective bring the decor into the 21st century (as do the waiting room iPads).
