With high hopes for an eventful weekend, we are prepping for the ING New York City Marathon. After a full year of intense training, there is only 1 day and 22 hrs left before the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge is jam packed with adrenaline riddled runners from every corner of the globe. We have mapped out our course, and chosen the best neighborhoods to set up shop – Ft. Greene for the scenic backdrop – Park Slope for its unique support system – Williamsburg for its trendy spectators – and of course Central Park for the victory leg.
This is going to be an amazing race (fingers crossed for clear skies), so get out your cowbells and get ready for an emotional experience unlike any other in the world.
