Forum Snowboards held the New York City premiere of its highly anticipated snowboarding film, F’it to posse of Metro New York fans alike. And of course, the Stylesight Active Team was on hand to capture everything that went down at the Red Bull Space in downtown Manhattan.
The line was longer than anticipated to get in which spanned almost entirely around the block. Security was tight, but once we arrived inside, the party was on fire! Considering the fact Forum flew in almost all of its team riders for the premiere inevitably made the festivities extra fun. Pros John Jackson, Andreas Wiig, Pat Moore, Niko Cioffi and Nic Sauve made sure everyone had a good time.
Earlier this summer, we only caught a glimpse of the film – Forum sent out a teaser in June to get us excited and well, ever since we’ve been waiting and waiting for the full feature.
What makes Forum so significant this year is its board graphics. Forum’s SEX, DRUGS and ROCK ‘N ROLL themes carried through on all of its bases, which while snowboarding, creates a hidden message. Considering most snowboards are on the snow, unless you are a pro going big, graphics are not always center stage. We haven’t seen forward and innovative work on a stick in a few years, so giving props to Forum this season is essential.
Big thanks go out to Junior Kantor and Vin Connolly from Forum for hooking up the party. Winter is just around the corner, so as we keep saying…PRAY FOR SNOW!
