New York: Over the last two seasons, designer Luis Fernandez has done a tremendous job at fusing sporty details with a casual tailored look. For F/W 11, after treating buyers and editors to a hockey scrimmage outside of the Standard Hotel, the designer showed a colorful feast full of technical fabrics and après-ski styling — all with a frozen Hudson River as the perfect backdrop. The wearable clothes are just another reminder of the tremendous influence activewear is currently having on contemporary menswear.
