Last year we were really excited to report on the collaboration of renowned Indian born-Paris based designer, Manish Arora, and French denim brand, Notify. The collection was playful, colorful and a true denim fashion statement. The partnership was back for S/S 13 at the Paris shows last week and it looks even better than last year.
We were excited to see the denim product back in August at the Vegas trade show ENK and their digital print denim jeans were our highlight of the show. We weren’t able to blog about the collection until now, top secret as it was!
But as the show has now hit the runway we have some of the great lookbook images and runway pics to share with you. The above images feature some of the intricate digital print denims on the runway as well as some beautiful iridescent leather jeans and allover extreme acid colored denims. Below we can see how some of the key womenswear looks from the show have been translated into elaborate embroidered and appliqued jeans featuring tigers, Indian jewels and designs that recalled tiles in Hindu temples. Also featured is a leather jacket and skinny jean, laundered with a theatrical monochrome bleach wash to replicate denim.
We look forward to these hitting the stores next spring – for a statement denim look, you can’t get much cooler than this collaboration!
