We’ve covered the world domination of pajamas quite at length here at Stylesight, tracing its stylish saga from humble sleepwear item to fashion must-have. Now comes a multi-page spread in the latest issue of Glamour Italia that celebrates the comfortable x chic appeal of the pajama – or as many in our office like to call them, the “dayjama”. Shot by Hans Feurer, the editorial features model Jessica Clarke in breezy resort and spring styles from Celine, Paul Smith and Hermes. Styled with working-girl trench coats and retro accessories, the editorial evokes 70s-era fashion catalogs – in an ironic way, of course.
We’ve got tons more pajamas in the pipeline via our upcoming intimates runway report, so in case you are rethinking about investing in these, newsflash: they show no signs of going away anytime soon. Great for sleeping, parties, hangovers, work, shopping and laziness – what’s there not to love about pajamas?
