New York: Misha Nonoo presented a short, sharp and provocative collection for Spring 2015 making a tongue in cheek reference to her woman as a “naughty square ” and, no less, “sending Brooklyn artist Dustin Yellin down the runway in a halter-neck shirtdress rendered in a print based on one of his works”. Nonoo collaborated with the artist “because she was drawn to his sense of scale and texture”. The result, colorful, abstract designs on key pieces such as a georgette shell, skort and a drop-waist dress; the remainder of the silhouettes were monochromatic in a palette of whisper pastels. For a softer touch, oversized sashes wrapped around the waist of fluid wide leg trousers and short hem mini slip dresses enveloped in ankle grazing coats. – Lizzy Bowring
