Quirky kids brand No Added Sugar has teamed up with Marlon Richards – son of legendary Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards – to produce a range of boys graphic T-shirts, sweats and intarsia knits for spring/summer 2016.
Having taken an alternative path to his rock star father, Marlon has established a career in graphic design and photography. His collection features a selection of obscure pairings of objects from UFOs to cats, freemasonry and gaming control pads.
As Marlon says, “Children’s imagery need not necessarily be easily understood or even childlike but can also be esoteric and thought provoking, if not a bit frightening …oh and absurdist.”
“I hope this collection of designs brings out the innate inquisitiveness and joy of the profound, and of course the very silly and strange world we live in.”
The collection will be will be available online for the spring 2016 season.
