No. 21

Milan: Three seasons into his revamped No. 21 label, Alessandro Dell’Acqua seems to be settling back into the groove of the boy-meets-girl aesthetic that put him on the map. This season, he played up the feminine aspect with curtain-style laces (used allover and in provocative insets), prim pencil skirts and daring plunge-front sheaths. Cozy heavy-gauge sweaters, splashes of military olive and tomboyish button-ups layered under sweaters balanced out the feminine frills, adding a dapper dimension to this season’s ladylike trend.
