Nike SB Dri-Fit Denim

This month sees Paul Rodriguez building on the signature franchise that he started with Nike SB in 2005 with the first Dri-FIT stretch denim.

Jeans have long been a staple in skateboarding and what better way for Rodriguez to launch his signature denim than with true performance innovation. Nike’s DRI-FIT technology has been used for a lot of different pieces all throughout the Nike universe, but this is the first time it was used on a pair of jeans. Simply put, DRI-FIT transports your sweat to the outside of the fabric where it evaporates, thus leaving you with a sweat-free piece of clothing.

Keeping in mind that denim is prone to destruction, the jean is extra-resilient too. The denim is a 12.25 oz stretch denim with triple needle construction that will stand up to the strains and scuffs of skating, while the back heel reinforcement is added to minimize fraying and increase the lifespan of each design. Threaded along key points are thin blue stitching that double as the trademark of Paul Rodriguez Collection and unique branding. From the griptape effect leather patch to the large Paul Rodriguez signature embroidered in the jean’s interior, these jeans are a Rodriguez creation through and through. Another unique characteristic is the drawstrings around waist to keep the jeans in place. The jean comes in either Rinse Indigo (dark) or Dark Stone Indigo (light), available now at select Nike SB retailers.
