Get webby for 2012! Tech trends push trainers to easily adapt to the “addition by subtraction” theory, using webbed systems to supply lightweight, breathable uppers for a snug fit.
Nike starts the new year with Air Max+ 2012, featuring an ultra-light Hyperfuse upper, Cushlon midesole, and a 360 Max Air unit. A great visual update from the +2011, the multi-colored web stretched over mesh layers looks refreshingly breathable, an vibrant approach to ‘raw energy’ themes emerging, recalling the look of circulatory systems.
For now, only eight colorways are available for a sneak peek, but knowing Nike, more are on the way. The sneaker will retail for $170 at most Nike retailers. -Calvy Click
