The Active Team is always stoked to hear about new fashion and sport collaborations – it brings a smile to our faces, as it speaks to a design driven aesthetic that moves activewear forward within the market. So, when we were invited to a sneak peek of the Nicole Miller x Neve F/W 12/13 collection, we jumped at the chance to see the line up close and snap a few pics.
Neve, one of the more fashion forward brands in the ski sector, brought us to Nicole Miller’s showroom in New York City to check out the range of knitwear crafted in vivid colors, with geometric patterns and color blocked placements.
One of the biggest points when Neve and Nicole Miller designed the skiwear sweaters was for the pieces to seamlessly transition from the slopes to Après-ski. The lightweight and buttery merino wool is an ideal fabric that’s breathable for high-energized runs down the mountain and luxe enough to pair with jeans for an elegant evening by the fireplace for dinner.
We also can’t help but notice how the collection is on par with our S/S13 Runway Roadmap: Fashletes report, right down to one our favorite pages,“Get Blocked”.
We’re looking forward to seeing what’s in store come next year, as we know it’ll only get better. – Jessica Kaplan
