New York: For Spring 2015, Nicole Miller was inspired by all that Brazil has to offer and not just the color, prints and sexy attitude: the catwalk was made to look like Copacabana’s pavement by way of a wavy optical black-and-white stripe. The collection was full of eye catching prints, from the opening silhouette of a ruffle-hem dress in a tropical floral print, to the mouth-watering “pineapple” placed on the slimmest of pencil skirts. There were short shorts printed in a fractured pineapple print and summery skirts and tops alive in tropical floral and fauna. Ruffles were everywhere placed on stretchy skirts and body-con dresses. A fun and lively presentation! – Lizzy Bowring
