Nicolas Andreas Taralis

Paris:  Fashion seems to be in a romantic and slightly monastic mood this season, especially among the younger crowd.  Up-and-comer Nicolas Andreas Taralis deftly falls under that assessment, presenting a fall collection in Paris that was reminiscent of a lovesick romantic poet so scorned by love he turned to the penintent life of a hermit (that would at least explain the severe bondage-like cut-out button-ups).  That he is intentional as well, as modified military frock coats and poet blouses had a distinctly masculine edge, added some swagger to the romance provided by feminine pieces like ultra-sexy slashed gowns and body-skimming sihouettes.
