New York: Nicholas and Christopher Kunz, brother and sister duo behind Nicholas K, looked to Swiss explorer (during the late 1800s) Isabelle Eberhardt for design inspiration. Their Spring 2015 collection was infused with a safari aesthetic in the form of fluid layering, shirt dresses and head wraps. The brand’s signature colour palette of neutrals was warmed up suiting the influence beautifully. Utilitarian details were also in keeping with their design DNA. –Deirdre Pérez
