Customisation and bespoke are the current buzzwords in fashion and retail at the moment, as consumers are seeking out the brands that offer more. That could be a shirt with a consumers favourite (but slightly niche) 90s character on, denim clothing with personalised doodles, emoji pins, or alphabetised iPhone stickers that spell out consumers names; clothing and accessories are focused on creative expression and personalisation more than ever before.
It’s no wonder then that bespoke jewellery line Erica Weiner is an Instagram success, with its range of personalised Heartbeats Necklaces that come with hip hop lyrics emblazoned across them. The lyrics range from the track Juicy by Notorious B.I.G to Snoop Dogg Gin and Juice and Beyonce lyrics. We loved stumbling across this line and finding something that feels a little different to the norm, high quality, delicate jewels mixed with mixtape must-listens.
The Heartbeats Necklaces range offers up gold plated pendants on a necklace, and start at $65. Created by self-taught jeweller Erica, her namesake jewellery line offers up a cool, fresh take on personalised jewellery, and is huge hit with the brand’s 35.7k fans on Instagram.
Weiner also specialises in fine jewellery pieces which combine elements of her favourite antique pieces, and real one-off designs that you won’t see anywhere else. Often jewellery can fall under two camps from cookie cutter copies to high end over-the-top styles, this brand cuts right through the middle of this, to offer something affordable, bespoke and great fodder for social media.
