Taking over Williamsburg is ABSOLUT Open Canvas, the debut of the vodka brand’s latest campaign “Transform Today.” This empowering project aims to transform an unlikely setting, and with this, North 6th Street has been turned into an interactive display of New York’s creatives. Here you’ll find formerly bare façades reworked by prominent artists including Jonah Freeman & Justin Lowe, Craig Damrauer, and Ara Dymond, as well as crocheted installations from Brooklyn-based art icon OLEK. The city blocks are brimming with storefront artwork and grand-scale photographs, but the highlight of the campaign launch was the alleyway demonstration from graffiti artist KATSU. This is art-brand collaborating at its finest. Stay tuned for the campaign’s next move – San Francisco is rumored for later this summer. –Sarah Ryan Hecht
