New Brooklyn-based publication Kindling Quarterly is a thoughtful exploration of contemporary fatherhood.

A parenting magazine of sorts, this independent new title aims to highlight “the creative individuals whose work and lives are inseparable from their role as a parent.”

Its creators, David Michael Perez and P. August Heffner, stress that the active and involved dad is not a novelty, but coverage across the cultural media landscape is often rare or overlooked.

The pages of Kindling Quarterly are filled with thoughtful essays, interviews, editorials, art, and photography, each paying tribute to fatherhood while also appealing to anyone interested in creativity, art, and conscious living.
