3rd Central, the new destination for denim and contemporary womenswear at Selfridges on Oxford Street in London, will be housing Europe’s biggest denim wall, with plans to fit every shape into a great pair of jeans. They carry niche brands like C.R.A.F.T, R-13 and Superfine along with classics J Brand, Citizens of Humanity, Paige, True Religion, Goldsign and Seven For All Mankind. Luxury basics lines like L’Agence, Enza Costa, James Perse, Alexander Wang Tees and Crumpet complete the look with the perfect pieces to complement new jeans.
This season, the London-based denim brand Superfine sticks to its punk rock roots with a collection that is largely branding-free, and focused on fit, fabric and style. Their new favorite silo, “The Chase”, is a dropped crotch super skinny leg jean. 55DSL will celebrate their 15th Anniversary with events at Selfridges this month, and have collaborated with Adidas Originals to create a special limited edition shoe called XV/55. A combination of 55DSL’s trademark colors and old school angel logo, it will be available starting September 26th, 2009 at 3rd Central along with 15 iconic pieces from their archives that have been reproduced for the occasion.
