New Denim Brand: Butcher of Blue

The Netherlands continues to expand its portfolio of homegrown talent with Bob Rijnders’ new purist denim label emerging on the market.

Butcher of Blue was chosen as a name synonymous with hard work, local product, and respect for quality – all attributes that have been adopted by Bob Rijnders for his new venture. Rijnders is a passionate entrepreneur (Best of Brands) with over 20 years of denim experience and knowledge. His experience varies from vintage sourcer at Denham to introducing Nudie Jeans to the Benelux areas, all of which contribute to the solid foundation from which Bob is forming his own label.

Not one to shy away from details, Bob uses the Butchers hook in several key details, creating a contemporary twist on traditional, heritage denim branding. One of our favorite features is the invisible hook inside the back pocket, which appears as the denim fades. As Bob puts it, “So butcher your jeans and let the indigo bleed.”

We are eagerly anticipating the Spring launch of two more washes, along with some signature tees, which will be exclusively available at the Best of Brands online store.
