The Active Team was intrigued to receive an invitation to the Guggenheim Museum in New York to introduce the newest walking shoe from New Balance. Alongside personal trainer and nutrition expert Holly Perkins, the 895 Walking shoe came to life as we climbed the famous Frank Lloyd Wright structure perfect for long strides and effective lunges.
The newest addition to the women’s walking and fitness collection, the 895 Super Light / Super Fresh is the first shoe in its category to feature REVLite cushioning technology in the midsole. The egg-crate design on the outsole offers a stable and comfortable platform, as Holly demonstrated series of exercises it was easy to feel the rubber pods massage the feet as we lunged through the fluid metal sculptures of the John Chamberlain Retrospective.
The 895 will be available in several color-ways, including the pink / silver and black / silver seen above. Special thanks to New Balance and Holly Perkins as well, such a positive and enthusiastic instructor is always appreciated for fitness and footwear advice! -Calvy Click
