Last weekend was the 17th annual Wave Gothic Festival in Leipzig, Germany. The music festival, which started in 1992 with a small line up of only ten bands, has grown to span four days with dozens of musical acts playing inside and outside venues across the city. As seen above, Steampunk was the major influence for most of the attendees, showcasing futuristic and romantic notions of Victorian goth.
