NARSissists no longer need to only rush to the nearest department-store counter (and Sephora) for the latest from François Nars, the brand opened a new brick-and-mortar store yesterday in New York’s trendy Soho neighborhood.
The 450-square-foot space boasts a sleek interior conceived by Nars and designed by New York firm Baron and Baron (the creative helper to other haute beauty brands such as YSL, Viktor & Rolf and Dior). Inspired by NARS’s minimalist black-and-white packaging, the interior’s modern red, black and white lacquered interior palette makes the space feel truly luxe and very NARS: high-gloss tables, full-height mirrors, marble flooring, makeup stations make it the perfect place to shop and try on new products.
Plus, each of the boutique’s makeup artists have been personally trained by Nars himself.
François’s Favorite Things — films, books, and photographs — are also exclusively available to buy and the curated collection of goods is rotated each season. Not to mention, the ever-popular Guy Bourdin Holiday 2013 makeup collection is also available.
A perfect place to pop by whilst crossing off your Holiday gift list!
