Naeem Khan Pre-Khan 2013

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION
New York: The awards-show season is just around the corner, so celeb-watchers can expect to see plenty of Naeem Khan’s confections gracing starlets on the red carpet. For Pre-Fall, Khan presented a range of elegant gowns sure to appeal to celebrities, as well as socialites. As usual, the embellishments were what made the pieces stand out. Among them were ostrich feathers, jewels, beads of all shapes and sizes, fringe, fabric petals, pavé sequins, and paillettes. In addition to the ultra-luxurious gowns, Khan also offered several cocktail dresses for occasions that are slightly less fancy. The same opulent embellishments decorated many of them. The best of the batch were three black dresses featuring beaded designs at the chest. Whether for cocktail or red carpet, Khan knows how to make a show-stopping dress, ensuring that his star will continue to rise.–Joanna Manganaro
