Getting your eight hours sleep is vital for beautiful, youthful skin. It’s the best time for the skin and body to regenerate itself and reverse all the damage done during the day. So this means night time products are essentials to assist with the repairing process. Here are five of my favourite products that work hard at night to ensure you wake up looking and feeling beautiful. Sweet dreams.

1. For The Body
Sarah Chapman’s Skinesis Overnight Body Treatment is the bodycare equivalent to the brand’s popular Overnight Facial. It’s jam packed with beautifying extracts including 7 omega rich oils and 9 potent anti-aging actives to leave the body moisturised, soft and firm. This is the perfect product to use after a long day as the flower essential oils (which smell amazing) help to relax the mind, ensuring a good nights sleep.

2. For The Hands
The hands are the first tell tale signs of ageing, so looking after them is a must. Aveda’s Hand Relief Night Renewal Serum does pretty much everything, from moisturising to reducing the appearance of dark spots and fine lines. The delicate fresh aroma is made up of orange, lavandin and eucalyptus to soothe the senses and aid a restful night.

3. For Leaving On The Skin (Mask)
Sleeping masks are big in Korea and now Western brands are jumping on the bandwagon. One of my favourite newcomers is the Ibuki Beauty Sleeping Mask from Shiseido. It’s a leave-on gel mask that you put on before bedtime and wash off in the morning. The result? Skin that looks energised, revitalised and youthful. The violet aroma is also lovely.

4.For The Hair
When it comes to hair products I’m pretty low maintenance but I do love a good hair mask or oil. Living Proof’s Perfect Hair Day Night Cap Overnight Protector is a weekly hair treatment that you can apply to dry or damp hair and then sleep with it on. It’s pillow-friendly, non-sticky and it promises to provide up to one week of more manageable and healthy tresses while lasting up to five washes.

5. For The Face
This new beauty contender is worth investing in this spring if you want to fake a good night’s sleep. Clarins’ new Multi-Active Night Cream features a new golden poppy extract that helps to reduce signs of a lack of sleep. Slather this cream onto the face before sleeping and wake up to skin that looks radiant and hydrated.
