Street art has had its place indoors for some time now with some of our favorite artists turning in from cold exteriors onto canvasses under curated conditions.
Spotting the typographic, illustrative-joy that is Retna so close to the front window of a new-ish gallery in Londons shoreditch has that luring power that draws in the curious. The clever visual on entrance quickly explains the ethos behind this new space; discover new artwork by emerging artists, buy a piece of it. The catch is, it’s affordable! All of the artwork is divided into shares – own up to 25% of the shares and you can even hang it in your living room for a while. With shares starting at £5GBP anyone can afford to buy into this market, which is the founder Tom-David Bastok’s priority.
The prospect of owning our very own Conor Harrington or a Banksy is pretty exciting but it’s not only street artists on sale, the likes of Jeff Koons, Roy Lichtenstein and Damien Hirst’s pieces are also available.
