America’s first doctor developed skincare brand Murad has opened its official flagship store on Los Angeles’ famed West 3rd Street.
Founded in 1989 by certified dermatologist and pharmacist Dr. Howard Murad, the stand-alone retail space spans across 1,500sq-ft and aims to highlight the brand’s commitment to Dr. Murad’s Inclusive Health Philosophy, which inspires people to ‘look better, live better and feel better.’
Offering a whole person approach to skincare, the store carries Murad’s full range of skin condition-specific, high-performance products as well as express services and activities that provide customers with personalised and engaging experiences.
Unique to this store are YouthCam Evaluations that use a high-definition camera with proprietary software to measure fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and inflammation.
On an interactive level, customers can participate in the brand’s Art Wall, focused on helping people ‘feel better’ by allowing them to create their own digital works of art and share them on social media.
“My hope is that our store will serve as a place where our customers can bridge the gap between beauty and health by giving them the tools and inspiration they need to make every day choices that support their overall skin health,” says Dr Murad.
