LONDON…British label Mulberry has enjoyed a recent expansion and resurrection lately, partly thanks to new creative director Emma Hill. For S/S 09 the brand continued a look at feminine basics for juniors, in addition to must-have leather goods. A pleasing palette of soft tan punctuated by ice cream tones and rich reds worked well for the short, full skirts, silk tops and cropped jackets. Standouts included a rich, metallic plum colored leather jacket and a short peach day dress with over sized pockets. Look to this mainstream label for fun, easy juniors basics.
